Our Favourites

Recommendations

As you might expect, we travel to Normandy quite often. Although we have our favourites places which we visit regularly we also like to try out new places when time allows. Whilst we have not provided in-depth reviews on this page, the establishments listed below are some of those of which we have had first-hand experience. We feel they are worth sharing with the visitors to this site who may be planning their own trip to Normandy and would like some suggestions. However, if you are in to cordon bleu cuisine and fine-dining then our choice of favourite places to eat will probably not be the same as yours.

Restaurant/Pizzeria Le Florentin at Bayeux

Le Florentin

Bayeux

This is undoubtedly our favourite restaurant in Normandy, and we can highly recommend the pizzas, omelletes and various pasta dishes. The french-fries are also fantastic. Try and leave enough room for the dessert though. Le Florentin also offers a take-away service for their excellent pizzas from a window just to the left of the entrance door.
